Asian Resources Inc Lunar New Year CelebrationOn January 31st, Asian Resources, Inc (ARI) celebrated the 17th Annual Lunar New year with dinner and awards at Happy Garden Seafood Restaurant, honoring Assemblymember, Jim Cooper and Nilda Valmores, Executive Director, My Sister’s House. Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento Hammy AwardsOn January 30th the Habitat for Humanity 25th Annual Hammy Awards and Dinner was held at The Center at 2300. This annual awards and celebration dinner brings together Habitat supporters, donors, volunteers, and ReStore partners to celebrate all that was accomplished in the past year and recognize outstanding members of the Habitat support community. Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions.
