A single purpose: To give adult cancer patients and their loved ones a relaxing, enjoyable, three-day family retreat from cancer. This carefree and cost-free retreat, Camp Wieser, gives families the gift of time for quiet reflection, pampering, and fun, a needed vacation from the whirlwind of doctor appointments and paperwork and treatments.

Sacramento Children’s Home Crisis Nursery LUXE FOR LIFE FundraiserSacramento Children’s Home Crisis Nursery LUXE FOR LIFE dinner and fundraiser was held at the California Railroad Museum in Old Sacramento on November 13, 2021.
The Sacramento Children’s Home operates the county’s only Crisis Nursery. The mission is to prevent child abuse and neglect by providing support to families at times of crisis. The Sacramento Crisis Nursery is a family-strengthening program, where parents can bring their children ages 0-5 to one of two Sacramento nurseries for emergency childcare services or overnight care during difficult times.

The NAIOP Sacramento Valley was formed in 1985 and conducts business in the Colusa, El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Sutter, Yolo and Yuba counties. Since founding, it has become the voice of commercial real estate development. The Sacramento Chapter is known for organizing special events such as the annual Development Forum, which feature current and future regional development projects, the quarterly Hard Hat Tours, which feature new projects and host guest speakers. The chapter offers educational workshops and seminars and remains involved in government affairs at local and state levels.
