The Park Ultra Lounge really is the cream of the crop for singles. Though the dress code is certainly upscale and it’s a bit pricey to get through the doors, the cost and effort are worth it. The size and architecture of the facility will amaze you. You will not see a more impressive bathroom in Sacramento. The live DJ can be heard no matter where you are inside. Easily find a spot on one of the two dance floors, or head outside to the patio and rest your feet. Inside or out there’s tons of beautiful people, all dressed in their best. With three bars conveniently spread out, you have no excuse not to buy that gorgeous person to your right a drink. And after you’ve gotten all the dancing you can handle, and cooled off under the stars, grab a bite to eat from Ma Jong’s or Cafeteria 15L connected to The Park.

Okay, so you’re single and want to meet people, but don’t want to play dress up or pay to get in. That’s fine too! Head to Streets of London Pub in downtown Sacramento. The bar always attracts a healthy crowd of fun-loving, friendly patrons. The pub plays host to many of Sacramento’s sports clubs so if you maintain an active lifestyle, you’ll have something in common with the majority of people inside. There’s tons to find in common with someone at Streets from love of sports to sharing tattoos, music to darts, the outdoors to beer. It’s a bit small outside, but hey, if you’re looking to meet someone, you won’t get lost in enormity.

Rocky’s 7440 Club

Citrus Heights, CA

Outside of downtown but still in the greater Sacramento area, driving a little further gets you to this unique place. The place in between the loud dance clubs and the small pubs, Rocky’s 7440 Club offers a bit of something for everyone. Seven nights a week you can karaoke or simply enjoy a delicious mixed drink from the full bar. Watch the sports updates on the HDTVs, play a game of billiards, or try your hand at the video games. Need a little more activity? Head out back to the adult playground. You heard that right. Challenge another group to sand volleyball or play one on one shuffleboard. There’s even a putting green. Change your mind about dancing? They’ve got that too. Every Saturday night is Girl’s Night Out.
