Best Bars To Watch Premier League Soccer In Sacramento

August 8 marked the beginning of a 38-week schedule that will see England's top teams face off for a chance at the coveted Premier League Trophy. Established in 1992, this will be the 24th season for the top echelon of English Soccer with the return of reigning champs Chelsea hoping to defend their title after winning last year. Believe it or not, there's more than one place in Sacramento that will cater to your love for Premier League soccer. With games starting early in the morning when you convert over to Pacific Standard time, these bars are dedicated to getting you in and settled way before the sun ever comes up. So grab a pint of Guinness and take a seat, because whether you're a Man U. fan or root for Liverpool, there's a seat open for you.

Word on the street is that De Vere's is one of the best places in Sacramento to catch early morning Premier League soccer. Just a couple of weeks ago they were hosting International Champions Cup matches and had doors open as early as 2:30 a.m. to catch the Paul Lawrie European Tour for some of its diehard golf fans. In addition, there are plenty of brews from all over the UK, and the ambience according to some reviews is just right. When the game's over, treat yourself to a full Irish breakfast, one of their specialties.

If there was one place to catch all the U.S. Matches during the World Cup last year, it had to be Bonn Lair's on J St. One peek inside the bar and you'll fall in love, and you can immediately tell that these people love soccer. You'll have to keep in touch with their latest events and match ups on their Facebook page, as they most likely won't update their website. Their selection of beers was described by one reviewer as, "outrageous" so best designate a driver on your way back home.

Streets of London is one of the only places that not only plays most Premier League Matches but caters to Rugby fans as well. The selection of beers are always changing, and the menu has something for everyone in your party. They usually won't open early for some matches, but if they happen to be playing during regular hours, you'll be obliged to stay and watch. As this pub-style restaurant is away from downtown Sacramento, parking is plentiful and the overall atmosphere is a bit more peaceful, if that's your thing.Related: Best Beer Gardens In Sacramento

There are few things that beat watching a bit of soccer while chowing down to some of Sacramento's best tapas and at Tapa The World, you can do both. This tapas bar is very modern, and their menu is full of fresh foods and appetizing choices. Unlike some of the other bars out there, they don't have anything on top for you to sample. For announcements when they'll be hosting Premier League Soccer matches on their big screens, you'll have to keep abreast on their Facebook page.
