Cornerstone doesn't really fall into the category of "sports bar," but they still know how to appreciate and celebrate a good football game. The bartenders are friendly and the bar itself has become a place where locals and passersby alike come in to watch games. Cornerstone always has creative football-related specials going on throughout the season and will no doubt be packed to the gills for the Super Bowl. Located in the heart of midtown Sacramento, you would be wise to get there early unless you want to be standing for the entire game.

The Grad is now, and has always been, a great venue for any sporting event. This bar has a lively atmosphere and terrific energy. The food rates pretty high as far as pub fare goes to be sure. There is a consistently updated sports schedule posted on their website. The Davis Graduate is also quite spacious, making it an awesome spot for watching the game. Players is the place all the locals in the Fair Oaks/Citrus Heights area frequent when looking to satisfy the urge for all things sports-related. With two locations very close in proximity to each other, they are very hard to miss. Obviously only one location will be in the address line here, but you can find both on their website. With plenty of booze, televisions and seats to fill, this is a no brainer for Superbowl Sunday. These bars are great because they like to keep things simple and cater to the neighborhood.

Cheaters is a small, but powerfully connected to its regulars kind of bar. Most of the people that walk in know each other and the bartenders, which will make for a more intimate Superbowl experience. The word "intimate" should not be taken to mean the bar will be quiet or timid by any means, the quarters will just be a little tight. This is a perfect location for those who want to be around fellow sports fans who feel like friends.

Corner Pocket is a venue with a lot going on. There's lots of real estate and great beers on tap. This bar is packed on almost every night of the week, so you can imagine what it might be like on this particular day. The crowd at Corner Pocket is usually a bit younger and louder than the others this list, so if this is what you are attracted to, then look no further. The crowd will no doubt be roaring before, during and after the game takes place, which is just another day of doing business for these folks.
