The Torch Club has been around in one form or another since 1934 and is now a popular place to listen to Blues in Sacramento. The club attracts well-known local bands as well as some national acts. The Torch Club has been voted one of the best clubs for Blues on several local lists.


Louie’s Lounge

Every Wednesday, Louie’s has a Blues Jam beginning at 8 p.m. hosted by Sacramento musician Steve Boutte. Blues musicians are invited to come up on stage and play. The Wednesday night jam is supported by the Sacramento Blues Society.


Marilyn’s on K

Marilyn’s is all about music. They have bands booked nearly every night with a healthy dose of Blues bands and singers. Check out their website for the calendar of upcoming events.
