Raley Field offers plenty of summer events for you to go with family and friends. They host several fundraiser events like Race for the Ring and Junior League of Sacramento’s Wine and Dine. Keep up with the events calendar on their website to check to catch summer performances.

This outdoor venue is great for summer concerts and there is plenty of parking areas and lots of open space. They also have a full bar and are great for bringing large groups.

Cesar Chavez Park
Between J and 10th Streets
Downtown Sacramento, CA

Cesar Chavez Park has free entertainment every week from May to August for their Friday Night Concerts in the Park, hosted by the Downtown Sacramento Partnership. The concerts feature bands and musicians from different genres, from rock, blues, folk, pop and punk. Vendors sell a variety of foods and crafts and there is also a beer garden. Come here for fun music and dancing!

Cal Expo is one place for “Big Fun.” Every year around July they host the California State Fair, a great event to bring friends and family—the carnival rides, exhibits and animal sightings are a sure summer treat.
