Best Valentine's Day Travel Destinations Near Sacramento

Northern California is one of the best places to live, and Sacramento has many opportunities for couples with romance on their minds. For those wishing to celebrate Valentine's Day out of town, the capital city is the gateway to thousands of great experiences. You can find anything that special someone enjoys within an hour or two of Sacramento, be it fine dining, live theater, spa treatments, shopping for antiques or hiking, wine tasting or watching eagles soar and curling up together in front of a roaring fire.
Calistoga

The tiny town of Calistoga, though very modest in size, is a celebrated destination known worldwide. Calistoga's fame comes from geothermal mineral springs, which are used in the area's spas, resorts and mineral pools. The quintessential Calistoga experience is to have a rejuvenating hot mud bath.
