Here’s a refreshing cocktail that will transport you to the French island of Tahiti. L’Orange Passion is a recipe created in Paris during an experimental cocktail session among friends. This mix of France and French Polynesia is the perfect way to say “Santé” (French for cheers, meaning “To your health!”) in every language.
- 1 oz. Tequilla
- ½ oz. Lillet
- ½ oz. Cointreau (Or Your Preferred Triple Sec)
- Orange Juice
- Passion Fruit Juice
- Lime Juice
- Put the alcohol ingredients in your cocktail shaker and then add 1 part orange juice and 1 part passion fruit juice (equaling no more than as much as the liquor in the glass for a strong drink and 2/3 to 1/3 liquor for a weaker drink.
- Add a healthy squeeze of lime. Shake it up well, strain and serve in a high-ball glass on the rocks.
- Serving Suggestion: Garnish with a lime wedge and lemon peel.
