The Colusa County Sheriff’s Office said the wildfire burning near the Sacramento River has exploded to 500 acres in size. Though, containment has jumped to percent. Though evacuations have not been ordered, the Colusa County Fairgrounds said on social media that it is acting as a safe space for residents looking for a place to wait out the fire.
