Police: Robbery Suspect Killed By Partner

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- Investigators have arrested a 19-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl in connection with the shooting death of a teen during an armed robbery Monday night.

The Sacramento Police Department said 18-year-old Tiekarian Troutman was accidentally shot by a fellow suspect while trying to rob a business near 12th Street and E Street just after 6:00 p.m. Monday.

Investigators believe 19-year-old Marquis Greenwood unintentionally shot Troutman after one of the suspects struggled with a victim during the crime.

Troutman was dropped off at a medical clinic at 30th Street and Q Street just before 7:00 p.m. that same day with the 16-year-old female suspect, where he later died of his injuries.

Greenwood was located and arrested at about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday near 14th Avenue and 42nd Street. He is facing charges of murder and attempted robbery.

The juvenile is facing charges of murder, attempted robbery and possession of narcotics.
