Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Sends Seven People To The Hospital

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Carbon monoxide poisoning sent seven people to the hospital from a midtown Sacramento apartment complex, according to Sacramento City fire fighters.

Fire fighters were called to the 16-unit apartment complex in the 2300 block of Capital Avenue after several people complained of feeling faint and dizzy this morning.

Fire fighters and paramedics also treated several people outside the complex. 

It was the second time in 24 hours that fire fighters have been called to the same complex for a carbon monoxide related illness.
