Man Accused Of Groping Underage Girls

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) --
The man accused of groping underage girls and exposing himself to strangers denied the allegations during a jailhouse interview with CBS13.

The Sacramento Police Department said Raymond Brau, 33, pulled down his boxers on the 4400 block of 73rd Street and exposed himself to two teenage girls last week. The girls called police, who arrested Brau last week.

Brau said the girls were staring at him and provoked him into reacting.

"They saw me and I closed my door, and they kept looking so I said something vulgar back to them, like, 'What are you looking at? Go ahead and take a look,'" he said.

Brau denied touching any girls inappropriately and said the charges against him are false.

The allegations come on the heels of investigations into sexual battery and indecent exposure against two women, as well as an open case into the alleged groping of a 15-year-old girl in Rancho Cordova.

Brau said he doesn't believe he has a problem dealing with women, but said he is beginning to "second guess" himself due to the number of accusations.

"I requested to be psych evaluated just to be sure," he said.

Brau is in custody of the Sacramento County Main Jail on charges of sexual battery, indecent exposure and molesting a child under 18. He is being held on $60,000 bail.
