Man Shot In Tracy Intersection

TRACY (CBS13) — A man was shot in Tracy on Friday afternoon and police are searching for the suspect.

The shooting accorded near the intersection of Whispering Wind Drive and Tracy Boulevard about two blocks from the Tracy airport. Police blocked off a stretch of the road while they searched for the shooter. So far no suspect information has been provided.

The victim was airlifted to an area hospital. A witness said the man was shot in the neck. There was no immediate word on a motive.
