Stockton Police Arrest Man Possibly Linked To Drive-By Shooting
STOCKTON (CBS13) - Police have arrested a man possibly linked to a drive-by shooting in Stockton.
At around 10:10 p.m. Sunday, police received the report that a van involved in a shooting on Bianchi Road had been spotted. When police arrived in the area of Townehome Drive and Bianchi Road, they found a vehicle matching the description.
Police watched the driver of the van fail to stop at a stop sign, and officers thought they saw an object thrown from the driver's side window onto the ground. Officers pulled the van over and arrested 38-year-old Ho Long Tran.
The object turned out to be a 5-shot .22 revolver.
Tran faces "numerous felony charges," according to Stockton Police.
