Stockton Police Arrest 3 Teens In Connection With Shooting Death

STOCKTON (CBS13) - Stockton police have arrested three teenagers in connection with the shooting death of a man earlier in August.

Police say they were called to the 1100 block of E. Sonora Street at around 11:41 a.m. on August 16 after receiving reports that a man had been shot. When they arrived, police found 28-year-old Jaime Ramirez suffering a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.

Over the next 13 days, detectives received tips that pointed to one 13-year-old suspect and two 14-year-old suspects. Between Tuesday and Wednesday police arrested all three teens on homicide charges.

Police say the investigation is ongoing, but don't expect to make any more arrests in the case.
