SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A Sacramento apartment complex has been damaged by a fast-moving fire. Firefighters say flames broke out at the complex on Elvyra Way, destroying two units. Others units were damaged by smoke and water.

“The fire was deep-seeded and well engulfed when we arrived,” said Sacramento Metro Fire Department Battalion Chief Maurice Johnson.

In total, eight units in total were damaged.

Johnson says only one of the units was occupied, but no one was injured.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
