Fourth Stockton Bank Robbery Suspect's Arrest Brings Relief To Victim's Family

STOCKTON (CBS13) — The fourth suspect in a deadly bank robbery shootout was arraigned on Monday after a grand jury indictment, and he's accused of planning the whole thing.

Pablo Ruvacalva will face the same charges as fellow surviving suspect Jaime Ramos, including three counts of murder, a robbery count and several charges related to kidnapping and attempted murder.

The July 16 shooting shocked Stockton residents and claimed the life of a Stockton mother.

The family of Misty Holt-Singh says they are relieved to know that the final suspect in the bank botched bank robbery that claimed her life is behind bars.

Misty's husband issued the following statement on the arrest: "I appreciate all of the efforts of the District Attorney's office, FBI and Stockton Police Department in the capture of the driver and we are looking forward to full prosecution. The family continues to work on reaching closure."

Holt-Singh was used as a human shield during the shootout between Stockton Police and the suspects.

Stockton Police Chief Eric Jones says they are now confidence they know who dropped the suspects off.

"We here at SPD have never forgot the pain of the Misty Holt-Singh family and we never will," he said.

Police had originally questioned Ruvacalva and let him go, but a grand jury handed down an indictment.
