SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A suspect is in custody on outstanding warrants after getting into a scuffle with a sheriff’s deputy.
An employee at Country Club Lanes called 911 after they believed the suspect the suspect was taking liquor from the second floor of the building.

When a deputy arrived, they found the suspect, 25-year-old Carl Christopher Randolph, sleeping on the stairs. Whey they tried to talk to him, he allegedly became combative and fought with deputy, according to a statement from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department.

A deputy suffered a sprained ankle during the incident.
