SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A suspect is in custody on outstanding warrants after getting into a scuffle with a sheriff’s deputy.

When a deputy arrived, they found the suspect, 25-year-old Carl Christopher Randolph, sleeping on the stairs. The suspect was eventually arrested and booked into jail on charges of felony resisting an executive order and outstanding warrants.

Since the room on the second floor is open 24 hours, Randolph will not be charged with burglary.
