VIDEO: Suspects Runs From Cops, Caught After Getting Tired

MADERA (CBS13) – A suspect tried to run away after getting pulled over but didn't get very far, police say.

The City of Madera Police Department says a man named Angel Flores was pulled over Saturday night after an officer spotted him driving a reportedly stolen car. Flores then got out of the car and took off running, as seen in dashcam footage from the officer's patrol car.

Flores was soon arrested, however, a short distance down the road after he tired himself out, police say.

Officers also later found that Flores was allegedly driving drunk, with a blood-alcohol level of over twice the legal limit.

Flores was booked at Madera County Jail. The car has since been returned to its owner, police say.
