Pedestrian Hit And Killed On Highway 99 In Modesto
MODESTO (CBS13) - Highway 99 is back open after a pedestrian was hit and killed while walking on the highway.
Around 1 a.m. Monday, deputies received a call of an animal being hit on the highway near Hatch Road in Modesto.
Deputies are investigating who hit the pedestrian and why they were on the road. The identity of the pedestrian has not been released.
All lanes of the road were back open around 6:40 a.m.
