Elephant Bar Restaurant Warns Customers Of Data Breach Affecting Payment Cards

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — If you've eaten at Elephant Bar in the past four months, there is a chance your payment card information may have been exposed.

Elephant Bar disclosed information about the possible breach on Tuesday. The company says it was notified to the potential security incident by its card processor on Nov. 3.

Malicious software found on the payment processing systems could affect diners dating back as far as August. The company's site lists 29 affected locations in California, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Missouri, Nevada and New Mexico. Locally, these three locations are included:

Citrus Heights - 6063 Sunrise Mall - 8/12/2015 – 11/25/2015
