SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A light blanket of snow has once again coated the Sierra after a spring storm rolled through Northern California.
Most the rain in the valley rolled through in the early morning hours on Thursday. Totals have been light.
Snow was falling above the 4500' level, with only about 1-3 inches of accumulation expected above 5000'.
Chain controls are in effect on Highway 50. They were lifted on Interstate 80 a little after 7:30 a.m.
It's back to sunshine and 70s in the valley on Friday, with temperatures expected to reach into the 80s come the weekend.
