Deputies Raid Large Pot Grow In Oroville, Sacramento Man Arrested

OROVILLE (CBS13) - A large-scale marijuana growing operation was raided in Oroville this week.

The bust happened back on Tuesday. According to the Butte County Sheriff's Office, deputies showed up at a home along the 30 block of Gold View Court in the Oroville area to serve a search warrant.

Hundreds of marijuana plants were found at the property inside several grow houses and a greenhouse, deputies say. In total, about 795 plants were found.

Deputies arrested one man, 48-year-old Sacramento resident Pau Cun Liu, at the scene. A second suspect, 46-year-old Sacramento resident Nhat Sang Vong, took off and is still wanted by authorities.

Liu is facing numerous felony charges for the grow. He is being held on $175,000 bail.
