Cerrone is riding a 3-fight win streak and is coming off a massive KO of #11 ranked Rick Story. A victory over “Ruthless” will place him right back into title contention. This is just the second confirmed bout for UFC 205. Earlier this week Al Iaquinta vs. Thiago Alves was confirmed for UFC 205 by MMA Fighting. UFC 205 will be the first card to take place in New York since UFC 7 and will be the first ever card to take place in New York City.
