Arkansas Man Accused Of Kidnapping Children Arrested In Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — An Arkansas man was arrested in Sacramento on Tuesday, accused of kidnapping his children in a custody dispute.

Aaron Young, 24 of Osceola, Arkansas, was arrested at a home off of Creeks Edge Way in South Sacramento.

Investigators say Young took his twin 6-year-old children from their home in Arkansas last week.

News reports out of Arkansas say the mother of the two children died a short time ago, and family members allowed Young to visit the children, but they didn't expect him to leave the state with them.

Young said he was in Sacramento with the children and posted a picture with them dressed up for Halloween.

Young did not have custody rights over the children, but told WMC he plans to fight the kidnapping warrants that lead to his arrest.
