4-Year-Old Killed In Benicia After Car Lurches Backward

BENICIA, Calif. (AP) -- A 4-year-old boy has died and a 13-year-old boy has been injured after a car struck them at a senior center in Northern California.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports that a 12-year-old boy was inside the car Sunday when it lurched backward, striking the two other children.

The 4-year-old died at a hospital. The two other boys were also taken to a hospital.

The incident happened outside of a birthday party.
