Speaking of free, if you don’t want to go all the way to Roseville on the 9th, just head to Curtis Hall for the annual Sierra 2 Holiday Craft Fair.The fair features 20 local artisans, makers, and crafters as they show of their holiday wares. It all supports the Sierra 2 Senior Center, as handmade jewelry, soaps, ceramics, fiber arts and even items for the home and garden will be in tow. Festive food and drinks will be available while raffle prizes will be handed out all the while.

This is probably the coolest event of the Sacto holiday season. Meet Your Village is an organization committed to building community ties across platforms, and tthey think the Holiday season is simply perfect for just that. Their Christmas Market features vendors with a wide variety of items. From wonderful gifts to keen last minute shopping ideas. Clothing, jewelry, gift baskets, cosmetics, housewares, and much more will be on display, and activities for the whole family will keep you entertained. Cookie decorating, photos with Santa Claus, gingerbread house construction, hot chocolate and cider, and many more will make the day before Christmas eve unforgettable. The event is free, but you’ll have to reserve a spot.
