Sacramento SWAT Standoff Ends After Suspect Not Found Inside Home

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – An investigation is underway in south Sacramento after police say a report of an armed suspect was barricaded inside a home Tuesday night.

The scene at Clearbrook Way near Bruceville Road was cleared Wednesday morning.

After a thorough search a home in that area, officers determined the suspect was not there.

The streets in that neighborhood are now open for the morning commute.

Police are still investigating the incident.
