Sierra Weather: Winter Weather Advisory This Week

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Sierra from 11 a.m. Monday until 11 a.m. Tuesday.

The National Weather Service says mountain snow will be heaviest Monday afternoon and evening.

The snow is expected to impact road conditions in the higher elevations.

Drivers are warned to expect travel delays and chain controls.
