Vegetation Fire In Unincorporated Solano County Contained To 7 Acres

5:30 p.m. Update: Firefighters say the four-alarm vegetation fire in Solano County was contained to seven acres Wednesday evening.

Officials remained on the scene to tend to remain hot spots and create a barrier to prevent further spread.

Originally, officials believed the fire started from a vehicle fire off ofOld School Lane, but firefighters now say that was not the case. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

SOLANO COUNTY (CBS13) — A two-alarm vegetation fire is burning in unincorporated Solano County near Winters, according to firefighters.

There are reports that the fire started as an Amazon delivery vehicle fire that spread to the vegetation in the 8100 block of Olive School Lane.

It is unclear if any structures are threatened at this time.

Officials believe the fire is approximately 10 acres.
