Helicopter Transports Rock Climber After 40-Foot Fall

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) –  A rock climber was airlifted to the hospital after falling approximately 40 feet down a cliff in the Rock Quarry along N. Fork American River.

CHP's helicopter located the climber being treated by State Park personnel. The climber was then transported to Sutter Roseville Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.
