Spilled Peaches Back Up Traffic On Highway 99 In Modesto
MODESTO (CBS13) — Things weren't too peachy in Modesto this afternoon as several crates of the fruit spilled onto the roadways on Highway 99 near Crows Landing Road, said California Highway Patrol Modesto,
Northbound SR-99 was backed up after a large number of peaches fell onto the roadway.
CHP advised drivers to use alternate routes until the roads were cleared up.
