Strike Teams From Around The Central Valley Called Up To Fight Tehama Co. Red Bank Fire
TEHAMA COUNTY (CBS13) – Several local agencies are sending strike teams to a growing fire in far Northern California.
Teams from El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento and Yolo counties are heading up to fight the Red Bank Fire.
Cal Fire says the wildfire, which is burning west of Red Bluff, has burned 7,340 acres as of Friday evening. It is only 7% contained.
Evacuations and road closures are in place.
Officials say lightning sparked the wildfire.
