Suspect Dead After Officer-Involved Shooting In Sacramento County

SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) — A suspect shot by authorities Sunday afternoon in Sacramento County has died, officials said.

The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office said the shooting happened at around 2:15 p.m. in the 1300 block of Bennett Road in Herald.

As of now, there are very few details on what happened.

No deputies were hurt.

The reason for the shooting is unknown at this time.
