1 Person Hospitalized After Being Hit By Car In West Sacramento
WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — West Sacramento police are investigating a collision after a vehicle struck a pedestrian along West Capitol Avenue Friday night.
The incident happened at around 8:21 p.m. in the area of West Capitol Avenue and Pecan Street.
Police said the as-of-yet unidentified pedestrian was taken to the hospital with head injuries.
The driver of the vehicle remained in the scene to cooperate with authorities. Police said drugs or alcohol do not appear to be factors.
No further information has been released at this time.
