Windmill Fire Sparks 295-Acre Vegetation Fire In Rio Vista

RIO VISTA (CBS13) — A windmill fire sparked a large vegetation fire in Rio Vista Friday afternoon.

According to the Montezuma Fire Protection District, the high winds quickly spread the flames. In total, the fire scorched 295 acres.

Several agencies responded to help Montezuma Fire put out the large blaze.
