SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A sculpture damaged during protests in Sacramento has been restored.

The sculpture of Bishop Gallegos stands in a square named for him in Midtown.

Work is also being done to restore three other sculptures known as “Wings of the City” that were vandalized in February. A man was arrested in February for vandalism after he reportedly knocked down the bronze sculptures.

That work will not be complete until early next year.
