SMUD Restores Power After Major Outage In Rio Linda and Natomas
SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) - Power has been restored to several thousand SMUD customers in Northern Sacramento County on Friday night.
On its website, SMUD.org, the utility reported that an unplanned outage left at least 24,000 customers in Rio Linda and North Natomas without electricity. Early Monday morning, SMUD reported that power had been restored.
The cause of the outage has not been made known.
