Major Union Pacific Train Fuel Leak Spans Dozens Of Miles Between Sacramento, Dixon Areas
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Approximately 900 gallons of fuel leaked from a train between Sacramento and Dixon, Union Pacific said Wednesday.
The spill happened along a 37-mile stretch before it was discovered.
Union Pacific said there were no reported exposures or injuries in the incident.
An environmental response team was dispatched to the area to assess the leak and determine what to do next.
