Monterey Trail High School Student Arrested For Bringing A Loaded Gun To School
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department arrested a Monterey Trail High School student for bringing a loaded gun to school.
On Apr. 20, a student brought a gun to school in his backpack. He told another student, and that student told a parent. The parent contacted law enforcement, and deputies retrieved the gun.
Monterey Trails principal, Lara Ricks, sent home a letter the same day detailing the events of the day.
