SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A man with a heart condition was rescued from the Sacramento River tonight after his boat stopped working. Fortunately, a Good Samaritan jumped into action and was able to help.
It was an unexpected ride that was not supposed to be a ride at all. The man was on his boat ready to take a trip on the river, but his battery stopped working, stranding him on the river and quickly floating away.
His family members were on the shore and all they could do is watch.
Another boater came along and was able to town the man’s boat to shore.
