CITRUS HEIGHTS (CBS13) – A 60-year-old woman used her gun to scare off would-be burglars.

The woman told police she saw several people trying to kick in her door at her home on the 7700 block of Glen Tree Drive in Citrus Heights.

The woman said she heard noises at her front door.  When she looked through the peep hole she saw a man trying to enter.  She also saw more men trying to enter through her back door.

So she grabbed her gun and started shooting.

Police did not find any suspects but did find evidence of an attempted burglary.

The woman was pretty shaken up but not hurt.

You wont hear the gun control fanatics talk about how this elderly law abiding citizen used her weapon to defend off these low life thugs! Kudos to this lady for defending herself as all law abiding citizens should have the right and the weapons to do so.

Next time, aim through the peep-hole and hit one of them.

It’s funny how all the other 30 something comments got deleted. I guess it was toooo offffensive for everybody to read. Why even comment on these boards when it’s only going to be removed because mostly everyone wasn’t tolerant enough. Prepare for these 3-4 comments to be removed.
