MANTECA (CBS13) – Manteca police have stumbled upon a massive marijuana growing operation in some abandoned buildings.

Manteca police are still counting the pot plants found at the buildings on Industrial Parkway but they estimate there are at least 2,000 plants ranging from mature to seedlings.

The sophisticated growing operation was spread through two buildings in what used to the LW Granite Company.

No arrests have been made.
