Charlie Sheen To Donate To Beaten Giants Fan

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS /AP) — Charlie Sheen’s tour is taking a softer approach when it arrives in San Francisco later this week, with a donation planned for a Giants fan severely beaten during the Los Angeles Dodgers’ home opener.

Sheen’s publicist announced Thursday that the actor will donate the profits made from merchandise sold at Saturday’s show to benefit the fan, Bryan Stow.

Stow is a paramedic who had to be placed into a medically induced coma after being beaten on March 31 outside Dodgers Stadium.

The “Major League” star is an avid baseball fan, and has drawn cheers for sporting the hometown ball club’s jersey in cities on his “Violent Torpedo of Truth” tour.

Sheen is selling T-shirts and other merchandise emblazoned with some of his new catchphrases, including “Duh, Winning.”

Sheen is so cheep it’s unbelievable.

  • Linda

I really think Charlie Sheen has a good heart but he is a drug addict and a narcissist.

  • bob bobster

Maybe he is as you say but he does not hide behind what everyone wants to hear and tells it like it is. Maybe not whom you would want dating your daughter but he is honest about his feelings not like everyone of you out there telling only what you think people want to hear.

  • Scott

Charlie Sheen is the coolest celebrity on the planet!

  • Squeak

    Wow…finally he does something newsworthy.

  • Stan Atkinson

That should be about $15.75 in sales.

  • Wayne

    Go Charlie, keep on winning.
