C.K. McClatchy Teacher Put On Leave Due To Allegations Of Misconduct
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- A teacher at C. K. McClatchy High School has been put on leave after allegations of inappropriate conduct with a student.
School officials received a report on Thursday evening that the employee had inappropriate contact with a student. Administrators then took swift action to get in touch with the Sacramento Police Department as well as district officials, who place the employee on administrative leave.
"The safety and security of our students is our No. 1 concern," said Superintendent Jonathan Raymond. "We will not tolerate any behavior that risks the safety of kids," said Superintendent Raymond.
The superintendent also said that if the allegations are true, the district will take the strongest possible action against the employee.
Staff and parents were notified about the incident on Friday.
