Audio: The Grant Napear Show - July21, 2011

The Thursday edition led off with some news regarding the Kings' standing in Sacramento, courtesy of NBA.com writer Scott Howard-Cooper.

Scott called in, saying that if the Kings leave Sacramento, the League will not return to the city - with or without an arena. Scott also gave his thoughts on league stars playing overseas.

Later, NHRA Drag Racer Larry Dixon previews next week's race at Infineon Raceway and talks about the excitement of being behind the wheel.

After taking a few calls, Former NFL coach Jim Mora checked in with Grant about retirement, the Hall-of-Fame, the lockout, the League, and many things in between.

Grant then ranted about society's oversensitivity to things they hear on the radio, singling out a word that's close to his heart: "retard".

NFL Hall-of-Famer Jim Otto then talked about life as a retired player and the toll that the game has taken on his 73-year-old body.

The final hour was all golf talk, kicked off with Ed McGargle, General Manager of Coyote Moon Golf Course in Truckee, talking about his course and some of the options for lodging and golf in the surrounding area.

Grant also took suggestions from callers on some of the best Tahoe-area courses.

Finishing off, Clint Bassett, Director of Golf at Schaffer's Mill Club in Tahoe, joins Grant to talk about Golf Week Magazine's 2008 "#1 Best New Private Course in California".
