Audio: The Carmichael Dave Show – August 10, 2011

Today starts off with news of Brian Stows progress after the beating endured during opening day in baseball, Jerry Rice and Bill Parcells are the new editions to ESPN’s coverage of NFL games. That leads to a debate of the best and worst announcers in sports history.

Dave also talks about the new arena plans and gets in a discussion with listeners about which local star should have a statue in front of the new Sacramento sports and entertainment complex. Callers couldn’t decide on just one local hero so Dave made an idea to create a Sacramento hall of fame museum in the new arena. Also, the new Club 50 bracelets are finally in and callers get a chance to win their own bracelets.

Drew is excited for the first Raiders preseason game tomorrow against Arizona. Grant Napear joins Dave in studio to talk about the latest news in the world of sports before his show at 3pm on Sports radio KHTK.
