SACRAMENTO, Calif. (CBS13) – Fire officials are investigating a series of small fires that broke out in the same area within a short period of time Friday morning.

Fire fighters were called out to a roof fire on Boulder Creek Way off Elverta Road in Antelope. There were no injuries and crews put the flames out quickly.

Just a few blocks away on Valley Quail Court and Watt Avenue there were reports of a car and a tree fire.

Fire officials are checking on the cause of the fires and if there is any possible connection.
