Grand Jury: Response To 49er Fire Sufficient
AUBURN (CBS 13) - A Placer County grand jury has issued a report that says Cal Fire's response to the 49 Fire was sufficient.
The fire scorched 343 acres and destroyed 62 homes in Auburn in 2009.
The grand jury says more resources would not have prevented the fire's rapid spread. Homeowners have openly questioned cal fire's tactics during the fire.
